Pintrest Defined
A few years ago a friend said, “I can’t believe you aren’t on Pintrest!”
So….I checked it out and it made no sense to me at all. I created a profile, pinned an idea for painting a wood pallet and hanging it as a book organizer then thought my walls couldn’t support that much weight! I didn’t log in again for a year or two who knows my life keeps me rolling full steam ahead.
When I did log in it all made sense! (I think they did a lot of updating to help us tech-less people) Soon I was creating boards, searching key terms, following other people and boards, and inviting friends to this wonderland of inspiration. That is basically what it is. If someone is plotting along on this big, wide, world web they can Pin an idea in their own profile so they can find it later. I pin things I think will be fun with the kids on a rainy day or crafts that inspire me.
I recently invited my 19 year old daughter to use Pintrest to get recipe and budget ideas because she had just moved in with her older boyfriend. She did not know she could mark her boards private so her mother wouldn’t see them. This was my next pointer for her.
Yes, Jenn’s Art Shed is there too!
Check out my boards on Pintrest for ideas on Home Organizations, Kids crafts, doll sculpts, and way more than I could list!
One of my boards is all about gardening, the He Needs to build me a Greenhouse
